As I have begun this exciting new adventure of “blogging” I have had to deal with a relentless “thorn in the flesh” that has pressed against me now for at least two years. I have extremely painful back and wrist/arm troubles that are greatly aggravated by my sitting at the computer and typing for any length of time. However, my excitement and desire to share God’s presence and work in my life with others are, in the “spirit realm” and in my heart, so much greater than my physical pain. And as I have battled with the pain and fought against it, the Lord kept saying to me last week: “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." And so with Paul I also say, “Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). Amen, so be it.
In HIS power and for HIS glory…
